ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Shweta Sangtani, graduate from Pearl Academy, New Delhi, is the founder and creative director of SUHINO. Shweta’s passion for colours and fabrics was cultivated in her family’s rich legacy of textile craftsmanship. With her grandfather starting a business in shirt manufacturing, and her grandmother adding a personal touch by embroidering motifs on those shirts, Shweta grew up surrounded by the beauty of design. This foundation inspired her father to expand the family legacy into Indian ethnic womenswear, igniting Shweta’s desire to pursue a career in apparel design.
